Yamaha has recently unveiled its MotoGP factory colour at the test run at Sepang circuit at Malaysia.
The Yamaha Factory MotoGP team doesn’t have a title sponsor just like they don’t have it in the World Superbike team. That’s not the matter of concern; instead Yamaha is happy celebrating its 50th year of GP racing with their M1 bikes that wears corporate blue colour and speed block design.
The Yamaha factory racing team is with two MotoGP champion riders Ben Spies and Jorge Lorenzo who are currently having a test run at Sepang Feb 22-24.
Lorenzo is very happy to be racing again with Yamaha and is happy to be preparing for the 2011 opening season. Further he stated that he had an incredible feeling winning last years World Championship. He stated that he has a great team backed by the work of Japanese engineers that makes him feel confident to fight for success in this season.
Spies is replacement for the nine time MotoGP winner Valentino Rossi in the factory Yamaha team. Spies is with his own set of skills. He has won AMA Superbike and WSBK championship and made a debut in the 2010 MotoGP season and won the Rookie of the year award 2010 MotoGP, finishing 6th in the standings with 9 top finishes and two podium appearances.
Spies has worked really hard to get the slot in the Yamaha Factory team and he feels great to be along side of Jorge. He also feels special as he will be racing for the Yamaha Factory Racing team that is celebrating 50th year in the GP racing. Spies feel the bike is really good and will be ready to go to the final event as soon as the tuning is done with the end of the test. He loves the corporate Yamaha colour and is big fan of the Yamaha design.
