TVS has revealed its new Phoenix 125 motorcycle. The bike is equipped with a new 125cc engine with EcoThrust that is ought to deliver quick pick-up and enhanced fuel efficiency.
On the occasion of the launch, Chairman of TVS Motors VenuSrinivasan said that the company has developed a new engine for this motorcycle. The new engine contains several unique features that confirm excellent ride quality. With the launch of the Phoenix TVS is hoping to increase its share in the segment. He also added that the launch also completes company’s motorcycle product portfolio.
The motorcycle supports full digital speedometer with amber backlight, trip meter, low battery reminder, service reminder, digital fuel gauge, soft touch gears and soft texture grips. The hazard lamps have also been fitted to ensure rider safety. The bike also boosts of rotopetal disk brakes, all black engine, LED pilot lamps and stitched dual tone cushion seats.
The Phoenix 125 is powered by a 125cc engine which brings about 14.7bhp of power at 8000 rpm coupled with four speed transmission. The bike also features electric starter, highly responsive damper and five step adjustable series spring suspension. TVS claims of about 67kmpl under standard conditions.
