After separating ways from Honda Motor Co, Hero MotoCorp is now the fresh contender in the Ducati acquisition race among many. Previously it was Mahindra & Mahindra which was in the competition but after it quit its plan and withdrew, Hero MotoCorp is the only Indian company who is in talks with the financial institutions for buying the Ducati Motor Holding SpA from Milan based Investindustrial SpA. Ducati Marlboro’s Valentino Rossi finally admitted that he’s clueless and not finding any solution regarding transformation of Ducati’s luck in MotoGP as he again finished a low 10th at Aragon on Sunday. Ducati tried putting on aluminium frames for the bike instead of carbon fibre tested vigorously at Mugello for 3 days in hopes of getting some input regarding the bike’s recovery on time for the race at Aragon, Spain. Ducati riders Nicky Hayden and Valentino Rossi have not performed their best in the current GP season. As the two riders take a summer break, the engineers of the Italian bike manufacturer have been working on enhancing the bike. the technical staff of the team have been busing working on the bikes. Ducati has announced that they will be holding an Italian tour beginning from July 2 to 7, which will cover exotic locations like Bologna, Lake Como and Milan. As was expected, Ducati did not do a great job of tackling this years MotoGP season. Neither did Nicky Hayden or Valentino Rossi make any positive impressions in the new seasons first two rounds. If it hadn’t been for the rainy weather at Jerez, three weekends ago, Ducati would be back at the Estroil race this week without winning a thing in 2011.
