The Indian two-wheeler giant, Bajaj Auto has pulled it off again. One of the most anticipated motorcycle of the year, and the newest member of the Pulsar family, the Pulsar 200NS finally breaks cover. Prices start at Rs 92,200 (on-road). Bookings in Pune and Mumbai have commenced and the Naked Street is available across all Bajaj Showrooms. Deliveries of the first batch of motorcycles will begin by mid-June, and it will be available in other parts of India only in its second phase. Gladly, Mr Rajiv Bajaj has stayed true to his words and offers the Pulsar 200NS at sub Rs 1lacs price tag. Indian motorcycle market has taken a giant leap with the introduction of high performance motorcycles like the CBR 250R, KTM Duke 200 and now, the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 200NS. Though the Indian motorcycle manufacturer has some powerful machines in the top-end segment, the introduction of 200NS signifies its entry into the raw performance motorcycle segment. It’s finally here! This was the day the bike lovers of India were eagerly waiting for in the past two years. Today Bajaj lifted the curtains off its next-gen Pulsar, which it now calls the Pulsar 200NS. The new Pulsar is a 200cc (199.5cc to be exact) bike. The engine of the Pulsar 200NS is a liquid-cooled 199.5cc four-valve carbureted with a new triple spark plug system. This engine is capable of giving out a peak output of 23.18bhp @9,500rpm, and a peak torque of 1.86kgm @8000rpm. The chassis is made up of a pressed steel frame with a rectangular swingarm.
