Among the various Japanese bike makers in the Indian market, Suzuki has been quite slow with its product portfolio. After the launch of GS150R, it has yet not added any model to their Indian Product line. With the 250cc market getting heated up in the recent times, rumors arrived that Suzuki might be planning to reveal its 250cc GW250 to Indian market. Suzuki also made few statements about bigger bikes making their way to Indian market but nothing official has yet been revealed.
Although there are still some chances of Suzuki to bring bigger bikes to Indian market as it has just set up a new manufacturing plant to increase its capacity. Recently Suzuki revealed its 2013 version of GW250 in the US market. Earlier tagged as Inazuma, GW250 will be joining the 2013 US lineup.
The bike is powered by a 248cc, twin cylinder, SOHC, liquid cooled motor that draws maximum power of about 26 bhp and peak torque of about 24.2 Nm. The engine gets balancer shaft for smoother operation and fuel injection. The engine is coupled with 6 speed gearbox. The Bike has a total weight of about 12 kgs.
