Bollywood stars and their attraction with automobiles is well known. However a celebrity refusing a bike as a gift is relatively unknown of. Where the film fraternity is well known for its John Abrahams and Salman Khans who will profess their love of two wheelers, a Khan, Saif Ali Khan recently refused a gift of a MV Augusta Brutale bike from the owner of the Italian firm MV Augusta, Mr Giovanni Castiglion. It so happened that Saif Ali Khan was in Italy for shooting a film and Mr Giovanni was also present there. The latter is a fan of Saif Ali Khan and went up to him and introduced himself. He then told Saif that he wanted to gift him a bike.
Saif was surprised at the gesture and said that he wasn’t particularly found of bikes however on Giovanni’s insistence he agreed to keep the bike. Saif is of the opinion that he rarely rides and in Mumbai’s chaotic traffic conditions, it is better to have a car rather than go for a bike. He is content with keeping the stunning Italian beauty of a bike at his home.
