LML – Lohia Machinery Limited was a famous name in India before 2000 in two wheeler market, since after closing its operation at that time, it was focusing on the exports and as of now the organization had again thought of re-entering our local bay by the means of two newbies.
Though contradicting the part, organization is still selling its product in markets like Delhi, Punjab and Goa but now it has blueprinted regions of Maharashtra and Gujarat for near future, where it seems to sell a whole lot among the large chunk of buyers, with cool amount of fanfare as well, as was lacking for same since long back in its kitty.
We still remember that LML Vespa, being made in collaboration with Piaggio & C Spa, was rolled off due to disappointing figures but now seem to be in back again in limelight in the new gearless avatar, as planned by its maker to launch somewhere nearby. It is not that limited, the organization too chalked out to re-launch 110cc Freedom for making its space in the most competitive segment of market. Both of the products are made confirmed to debut on pan India basis, but looking as per the tempting mood of LML we can conclude more focus to be derived towards new markets of Maharashtra and Gujarat.
May 2013 fends perfect for the good kicking sales of Star 4T automatic scooter and Freedom 110.
The bike maker had jolted down to commitment lists in 125cc and 150cc bike segments, but giving hay right now will be too early, lets store something for future where we expect the result to come out soon, not to disappoint, LML too was having a 150cc beamer in those days, so definitely their old wine experience will might create something new in future, which we can say was trendsetting even in that era as well.
