There is some good news for Ninja fans out there, the word is spreading that some of the showrooms has started unofficial booking of Kawasaki Ninjat 300R. The Ninja 300R which is ought to replace the current Ninja 250R has already created much of the stir in the market. The Ninja 300R is scheduled for a launch somewhere in March 2013. If the rumor is to be believed, the booking amount of Ninja 300R is Rs. 6,000.
Kawasaki Ninja 300R will be powered by a 296cc, 4 stroke, parallel twin liquid cooled engine that delivers about 39 PS of power at 11,000 rpm and max torque of about 27 Nm at 10,000 rpm. The engine is coupled with a 6 speed constant mesh gearbox that delivers the power to the rear wheel via a chain drive. The bike has been constructed around diamond shaped steel tube frame and possesses a curb weight of about 172 kgs. The front comes with the 37mm telescopic forks, while at rear it features bottom-link Uni-trak, gas charged shocks with 5 adjustable settings. Braking is taken car by single 290 mm petal disc in front and another 220mm petal disc at the rear. Pricing has yet not been revealed but it expected to be around the Kawasaki Ninja due to the stiff competition in the segment by other international bike manufacturers.
