Hero MotoCorp and Honda seem to be a lot bullish about the 2 wheeler segment, and this had grown to some extreme levels after their separation. Overall, Hero still enjoys the tag of world’s largest two wheeler manufacturer till date.
Riding the bullish stride, Hero MotoCorp Honda had acquired 200 acres of land in Halol, Gujarat to start its production on the same cubic inches till 2014. It had invested Rs. 1,100 crores in this new factory which takes the total pumped-in number to Rs. 2,575 for three plants.
Recently, the Indian two wheeler manufacturer had also started construction on Rajasthan manufacturing bay, which will also be operational by 2014.

Total annual production will be upped to 18 lakh figures till the beginning of second phase.
However, the organization is also dwindling with labor disputes at Gurgaon process, but these petty issues are much smaller as being a part of the big league.
Quantitatively, Hero MotoCorp will be sitting on the five huge operational bays till 2014, including Gujarat’s as well.
