Hero MotoCorp Ltd, one of the world’s largest 2-wheeler makers, has announced that they have sold over 11 lakh 2-wheelers in October and November. Senior VP, Marketing and Sales, HMCL, Mr. Anil Dua said that the retail sale figure for the two-wheeler crossed over 11 lakh units earlier this week. This represents a growth rate of about 7% over the same period last year. He also said that by the time month of November will come to an end they will be gathering even higher figures.
He also stated that they will be dispatching about 5 lakh two wheelers this month. The company is swiftly moving ahead quite cautious of the fiscal year ahead. He further added that the increase in demands can be attributed to the robust sales of the established brands like Splendor and Passion, and incredible performance of the new models such as Ignitor and Maestro. This also signifies the strong foothold company has in the Indian two-wheeler segment. This news is quite encouraging for the Hero MotoCorp as the sale figures have appeared just two months after the complete migration of Hero.
