Harley is very much famous for its heavily loaded chrome metals even in the remotest of India. To mark a blistering 110th Anniversary, the bike maker had kicked off its first national HOG Rally here with more than 500 avid bikers. This special moment was honored by Karen Davidson, Creative Director of Harley Davidson General Merchandise and also the granddaughter of Willie G. Davidson, Harley-Davidson’s Chief Styling Officer Emeritus.
Commenting on her first visit to India, Karen exclaimed that she is very much thrilled on seeing the passion and enthusiasm of Indian HOG’s members. She too replicates it as a pleasurable experience of her life.
Anoop Prakash, Managing Director, Harley Davidson India was also very much gleamed for the celebration. He said, “It is with great pride that we welcome Karen Davidson to India for the 110th anniversary celebration and our first National H.O.G Rally. The rally marks a key milestone for leisure riding in India, with our customers riding in from across the nation to honor the bond they share with each other and the brand.” To carry on the undying spirit of this stud bike brand he added, “Their enthusiasm and passion inspires us to ensure the Harley-Davidson ownership experience remains world-class and unmatched now and for the next 110 years.”
For marking an epic of this long running metallic journey, the US based bike maker had also introduced Exclusive 110th Anniversary merchandise in all nine dealerships.
During the event, Harley Davidson India had rolled in several HOG members, who had recorded most kilometres in the eight HOG chapters, for wearing a legendary Freedom Jacket. This jacket is bulleted with emblems and patches from journeys all over the world. After to Goa, this timeless merchandise will move on to other 110th celebrations of the world.
