The Auto Expo saw among many other cars and bikes the advent of the Ducati Monster 795. Many of the reasons of the Auto Expos success derive reasons in the hosting of such upcoming bikes and cars in India.
The pricing of the bike was kept at Rs.6.99 lakh initially, but as a promotional gig the Ducati Monsters are available to the first lucky 300 customers who had booked the bike at a price of Rs.5.99 lakh only. This special package exists only for the aforementioned 300 and it would again go back to its original pricing once the magic number is reached. The Ducati Monster is a high flying machine, the highest selling among the Ducati family bikes, so even though the number of bookings till date is a modest 50, the dealers are hopeful of improvements in the numbers pretty soon. Given the price tag associated with the bike it’s quite predictable that it would have a slow start in Indian markets.

The bike manufacturers are able to give such an offer since the Indo Thai Free Trade Agreement permits the Monster 795’s to be brought in from Thailand at 20 percent duty instead of 60. The monster comes in with ten different color schemes and weighs in at 167 kg with its all muscle body and 803cc engine that generates an 87BHP of power. So if you are ready to go the distance and shell out some serious dough then you better get going, or else you will miss the offer window!
