Recently, Yamaha launched the FZ and FZ-S V2.0 bikes in India. Alongside, the tourer-type sibling to the FZs, the Fazer, is also deemed to be receiving updates soon, claimed a report on internet. At the backend, the Japanese bike maker is readying the new Fazer to launch it soon in the coming months. It will then complement the sales of the new FZs with the ongoing momentum. Yamaha Motor India continues to dominate the market in the upmarket commuter class – or can be said as the entry-level performance/street bikes. Whatever the stature be, the Japanese bike maker posted a growth of 14.3% in domestic sales during June’ 2014 as compared to the corresponding period last year. Most of the sales were juiced from the innovative efforts, ongoing customer-centric activities, exciting product line-up with the addition of ‘Alpha’. Yamaha FZ FI version 2.0 – the new lord of streets had arrived in India for Rs 76,250 and FZ-S at Rs 78,250 ex-showroom Delhi. Both the bikes went through a number of changes. Talking about the FZ, it is featured with the fuel injection which is part of the new Yamaha technology called Blue Core.
