Article by Hamza Ansari
India’s very own Royal Enfield had traits similar to the political servants of the country, as both takes a lot of time to do the prescribed job. Yet, with only a single bike on the drawing board now, it is the limited edition models that have always kept the bell ringing at the seller’s bay. Followed by the launch of black coloured Continental GT, RE had unveiled Desert Storm Despatch and Squadron Blue Despatch limited edition motorcycles in India. There is also a Battle Green Despatch for the international markets. The unveiling of the said motorcycles took place at the inauguration of Royal Enfield gear store in Khan Market, Delhi. The store is the sixth example of its gear outlets in [...]

A twin-parallel machine was too bulky for a bike like Continental GT. Though, nothing concrete at this time how much power it could produce, and will it see the Indian sales floor; after all, some RE examples are available only in abroad. As far as the speculations goes, this engine is a displacement between 700-750cc, fed by two huge carburetors rather than a fuel-injection. Hence, the Cafe Racer of Royal Enfield is just an application. Obviously, there may come more products of them in different forms to rival the Harley-Davidson and other [...]

As compared to the past line of actions of Royal Enfield, the ones that are taken up in the current scenarios are more youthful, and also come at a rapid pace. Their move of opening an online store really took us back, how this oldest bike maker in the world can opt for such a new trend unlikely to its orthodox past. A visit to the store revealed, it retails safety gears, buffs, hand gloves, shoes, jackets, shirts, trousers, wallets, card holders, belts and more. The list also includes specially made AGV helmets of Royal Enfield priced for a very efficient tag. Most of its clothing line was inspired by a ‘Dispatch Rider’, the bike rider who transferred information between ground-force and [...]

Royal Enfield Continental GT Launched In Black Colour

Featured, Latest News, Royal Enfield
Article by Hamza Ansari
It took number of years for Royal Enfield to bring us its most powerful engine with paltry increment in power and made debut on the Continental GT (aka Café Racer). Ironically, the company didn’t took this long to think about launching the black shade for its model. Ultimately, the bothering sales numbers may have compelled it to do so. Already the buyers bought it in red and yellow paint, now the addition of black will lend more options to choose from. Hence, the bike dwells only cosmetic makeover where nothing is tweaked on the technical fissure. Continental GT continues to the do the duty with that same 535cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke engine of 29.1bhp @ 5100rpm and 44Nm [...]
