Ducati finally makes a comeback. The bike maker hailed from Italy restored the faith in Indians with the announcement of comeback on its own. Registered itself as Ducati India Private Limited, it will carry on the operations with its own team rather than inviting someone else to look over the reign, unlike earlier. Ducati had commenced bookings of Scrambler in India. Dealerships of Italian bike maker in Mumbai and Delhi started accepting the orders for the bike, which will go on sale by end of May across the sales floor. If sources are to be believed, Scrambler will pinch the pockets of buyers not harder than Rs 6.57 lakh ex-showroom, and Rs 7.5 lakh on-road, in Mumbai. Scrambler, the model itself is new for Ducati; since it garnered huge fanfare internationally and makes more promises for the sales for young markets, is speculated to see the launch in India by next month, claimed a source. The bike is from neo-retro category that will set the pace against Triumph Bonneville.
