Under the tie up of Kawasaki-Bajaj, the Pune based bike maker launched 200NS in the Indonesian market, which is said to be one of the most emerging markets in world. The Indonesia-spec is almost similar to the India ones, but the fuel injection is removed to suit the particular market scenario. However, the designing seems a bit changed with the new set of decals and graphics, which also includes a ‘Ninja’ green shade in the repertoire there. The second largest bike manufacture in India, Bajaj, is gearing up for a busy year ahead. The demand is low and the competition from Honda is continuously being growing up which has led to slip in the market share and even the profit margins. With an aim to catch up with Honda, Bajaj is taking a confusing move. It is planning to launch as many as 6 new Discover in the current fiscal year. Bajaj auto, India’s second largest motorcycle maker is quite numb with the downfall in the domestic markets as Japanese bike makers are going uphill with the demands in the world’s second largest motorcycle market. Japan’s Yamaha Motor Co. Bajaj ranks in the top three among leading bike makers of India, and the famous Pulsars are tagged as “Fastest Indian” over here. Recently we had leant that now it has announced the hike in prices of its entire between Rs.300 to Rs.500 due to beefed up logistics and other expenses.
