Cafe Racing and Sport, Milan based auto manufacturer will soon join other auto manufacturers as they too bring out a special edition product to mark 150 years of Italy’s unification. The manufacturer recently showcased their VUN Tricolore bike to celebrate the occasion.
According to the manufacturer VUN, which stands for one in the cities dialect, represents a single seater and cylinder, is known in Italy as well as the world for elegance and creativity when it comes to bike building.
To mark this special occasion, the VUN is decked out in tri-colour livery, which is motivated by the red, white and green diamonds of the First Italian Republic’s flag (1802 to 1805) that included Lombardy excluding Oltrepo Pavese, Romagna, Emilia excluding Piacenza and Parma, parts of Veneto enclosed by Adige River and Novarese principle.
The company boasts that with the VUN, they have birthed a new category, the Mistostretto. The bike will be showcased in Turin, Italy till November 20, this year as part of ‘Future’s in the Hands’, that is an Artisans exhibition as part of the event, Esperienza Italia. The manufacturer chose to showcase the excellence of the craftsmanship in Italy, with this bike.
The company is currently working to produce a similar product, which will also be decked out in the same colours, however this time on the DUU, meaning two in the cities dialect. This bike is also available in a two seat variant.
