Garware Motors will launch Hyosung GV 250 and GV 650 in May

The wait is almost over. Garware Motors is going to launch Hyosung GT250R and GT250N bikes in May this year. Previously they planned to launch these motorcycles this March 2012, but they postponed the launch to see the changes made by the Indian Government in the upcoming budget. These motorcycles will be imported from South Korea and will be assembled locally at a place near Pune named Wai. But the first Cruiser motorcycle that the company is going to launch this May 2012 is the GV 650.

Yamaha Motor Thailand Plans to Form Joint Venture in Burma

The subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Corporation in Thailand, named Yamaha Motor Thailand, is now planning to set up a joint venture company in Burma along with few other investors. The reason behind Yamaha Motor Thailand’s coming to this decision is Burma’s new industrial policy to get overseas investors to invest in the country. Yamaha Motor Thailand is still in the consultation mode with their main company Yamaha Motor Corporation, regarding its business plan and strategy which involves production, prospect and distribution in Burma. During their first year of production the company expected to produce around 10,000 units.

Repsol to Sponsor 15-year-old Female Rider

We know Repsol as the Spanish oil company and the sponsor of many a teams in motorsports. It has come to closing deals with a 15-year-old Red Bull Rookies Cup racer Maria Herrera to join its racing mania.
Herrera, the 2011 Mediterranean PreGP Champion, is the first female racer to be selected to compete in the Red Bull Rookies Cup. The Red Bull Rookies Cup is a youth racing series, held jointly with the MotoGP tour. Herrera also joins training with MotoGP racer Alvaro Bautista, who also backs her financially. The two racers are to work under the management of Armando Guerrero.
Reports say, Repsol will sponsor Herrera in Spain’s CEV Moto3 Championship, with a potential to move to the Moto3 [...]
