Royal Enfield India has announced dates for its big ride touring Rajasthan this time, which starts from Jaipur on October 9 for a 10-day enthralling ride before heading back to Jaipur on October 18, 2011. Royal Enfield India would be taking a selected few Royal Enfield owners for the ride into an adventurous trip going around the Thar Deserts and also riding on the empty, long tracks of tarmac of Rajasthan. Saturday evening saw MotoGP riders holding discussions regarding the ongoing Motegi situation at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway GP in the US. They did disband altogether without coming to a definite conclusion as the race was approaching nearby (Sunday). The Japanese GP in Motegi was supposed to be held on April 24th, but got postponed to October 2nd. The reason behind the postponement was the recent tsunami and earthquake, which shook Japan seriously knocking down the island pretty bad. The nuclear plant in Fukushima was damaged the most. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway saw both the Mahindra riders experience a tough weekend. Danny Webb sat out of the 125 cc race when he injured his hand and Marcel Schrotter crashed out on the last lap in a race where he was comfortable in a points-scoring position, but failed to capitalize on the last lap. Danny Webb, the British rider, had an injury to his hand on Saturday’s morning practice session. The injury potentially affected his qualifying performance and ruined his participation in the main race on Sunday.
