Just two days after the launch of the Hero Impulse, Hero MotoCorp has announced that they are eyeing 10 lakh units for their export figures and this isn’t for the immediate market but for their export markets. Hero MotoCorp also announced that this weren’t their immediate aspirations but one wherein they would be waiting till 5-6 years.
Post their split with Honda, Hero MotoCorp have poured in more than Rs 1000 crores into their building up two new plants. Not only this, the company is also looking forward to infuse cash into its existing 3 facilities in India. Inspite of the split, Hero MotoCorp is currently the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer. CFO for Hero MotoCorp, Ravi Sud said that the company plans to sell about 1.5 million units in the next 5-6 years and within the next few weeks, the company would declare the final place where their 4th plant would be based.
